Check out the Cheltenham Videos and get in the mood with the latest trainer interviews which I have put altogether in one place- CLICK HERE. There are some really good features there and may fill the time today.
I can't get motivated for today, much like yesterday and I feel time may be better spent sorting out where I am for next week, but there are a few that caught the eye, but caution is the order of the day. Another poor day in the shadow of Cheltenham!
Newcastle has probably the best card on offer where Ferdy Murphy saddles De Boitron in the 4.50, looking to follow up on a very good win last time out. Mighty Moon in the 4.20 was also a good winner last time out and could follow up again today.
For obvious reasons I like Our Bomber Harris in the opener at Exeter, and hope he wins, but disappointed last time so I will support him without a financial interest today.
At Southwell I have had a good friend sorting out rather a large bet on They All Laughed in the 2.40. He is a Pro Punter who selects his targets very carefully and does very well. He doesn't usually back heavily on the all-weather (who does) but has this one down as a good thing. Peter Hiatt and Chris Catlin are two masters of their craft and the horse drops in class to a claimer. I landed my biggest gamble in a seller with my horse (at the time) Owed and I think that this could come off today, but its a short enough price. I would watch for any move on the Leech horse as they have had a tilt in the past with horses of a similar profile. Good Luck My Friend!
I think Boundless Prospect should win the seller at 3.10, but he is not one to lump on at a short price! More Time Tim was a good winner last time (for us) and is out again in the 4.40, taking advantage before he is raised in the weights.
Having mentioned about half the races run today I still advise caution. I will see how the day pans out and hope that the gamble is landed with They All Laughed for a very good friend and a good punter.
Tuesday Layform Lay
Another one beat yesterday with Boo. Today Marleybow in 3.20 at Newcastle is the LAY of the day. This is a Free sample of the Layform.com service for you!
