Its Looking Brighter

Not only the weather, but after a week of poor cards today it is much better then it gets really good from tomorrow. Despite it looking like spring Leicester are holding an inspection because of frost overnight. The Great British weather strikes again!

I hope Leicester gets the green light, it's a decent card. Ballyvaden (4.50) absolutely bolted up last week with a mere 25 lengths between him an the second horse. That was over today's course and distance so the quick return, before the weight gets lumped on by the handicapper. Ballyvaden is a mere 2.3 on Betfair but a repeat of last weeks run will see him home well clear once again.

At Ayr my bet of the day is Sammy Spiderman (4.05). This horse just keeps on winning. He is a relentless galloper and decent jumper, qualities that have resulted in wins in his last three outings. It could be four today in this small field. The 2.48 on Betfair, in such a small field is decent value, in my book and I will be on again today.

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming. I enjoy getting them and responding. I didn't bother publishing one I got this morning berating me for ignoring Wolves last night. If the poster is reading this, then if you want to bet at Wolves it's your call. I prefer to spend time with my family and why would you feel so strongly that I didn't get involved at Wolverhampton on a Thursday night? Strange! I would also publish your post if you refrained from bad language, but I'd really rather you didn't bother!

I'm going to give the lays a rest today. Two wins call for a rethink!

I will bet getting stuck in to the Imperial Cup card later. Pipe will be chasing the bonus again and it looks a decent card to have a tilt at.
