No April Fools Here...

We are taken for fools daily so why have a day to exaggerate the point? Still its a working day and we must crack on, although its not a great day on the racing front. However tomorrow there is the start of one of the biggest jumps meeting of the year, Aintree, with the Grand National on Saturday.

One horse that I think has a chance is Quaddick Lake 2-40 Exeter, but I wouldn't be getting heavily involved. This horse was a good winner just seven days ago and could be on the right side of the Handicapper.

I will be getting stuck in to trading once again, thanks for the comments and the discussions. I keep saying it but days like today are tailor-made for trading. I will be doing a bit of punting at Aintree, but by being able to make money on moderate cards through trading this is a huge positive. I will see how I get on today and from today I will be keeping a record of my daily performance to see if I can make trading pay!

I thought that Alan Shearer becoming Newcastle Manager was an April Fools hoax, but it seems not. Good luck to him and he has shown courage taking over at a time when the club is in a tough position, has a hard run in and can't sign anyone. I hope he saves the club from going down!
