Its only the AW again today, the bucket and spade as its affectionately called by some! Even Kempton is being inspected, ahead of tonight so its not really All-Weather! Indeed Wolves has been abandoned in recent months for Fog, Strong Wind, Snow, Ice (said the sand was clogging under hooves), heavy rain and frost Oh and the fact that the lights failed! No worries for Dubai tomorrow!
Anyway...there's not much doing, pretty moderate stuff at leafy.. The best bet is probably Five Star Junior at 3.35 but I wouldn't be lumping on, its a good bet considering the limited opportunities available today.
Its strange how you strike up affinities with certain horses and Bridgewater Boys (2.00) is one such horse. I tried to claim him once but failed and this old boy always does well in claimers. He's with David Evans now and should put in a good performance today. He is one of those I cheer on without necessarily backing him.
Thats your lot today. Even if Kempton goes ahead I'll be watching Waterloo Road with my daughter who is 8 and is worried what senior school has instore for her in 3 years time!
