Remember P.M.A is what's needed! My bet of the day runs at Southwell which stages a jumps card. I'm tempted to go today! But it will only cost me money, by not being here.
The big question of the day is will Sabre Light be 'off'. This horse has a great strike rate, but at Lingfield a few runs back it was a huge drifter and ran too bad to be true, very shady, and it means that you can not trust the connections, which is a real scandal in the sport, in my view. Sabre Light should win, but I will not bet in any race where there are dubious variables to consider.
Lets not get too excited today, its decent for a Tuesday, but in reality it is fairly modest stuff.
At Southwell there are two that take my eye. In the mare's novice hurdle at 3.30 Valley Of The Dolls may prove to be a class above these. She is well related from the stable of Alan King which is now coming in to form, and is my bet of the day. In the 3.00. Shining Gale fell last time out in a much better race and this is, on paper at least a match up with Westend Rocker. I think that Shining Gale may be the improver and should win, albeit at a short price.
The Good thing of the day is Super Foreman (2.20 Taunton) which is already 1-2 and only really one to double up your bets.
