I thought it was poor today and I was right. Raincoat will struggle I would suggest, and at 10-11 it was not backable. The lay came good, so at least I have a few quid in the bin, but it was a day off and I got plenty done.
I'm typing this with the 5.30 about to start. What I am seeing is mind boggling! Frascatti Park went off fast to burn them off. The Jockey never looked at natural, he nearly fell off, dropped his whip, dropped his reigns and with a double penalty he still managed to win. This is a nice horse, but my god, what a race. I reckon if someone was to buy this horse he could be a decent type . He won despite the jockey not because of him! In truth he could have won by half the track, imagine if McCoy was aboard!
Roll on Cheltenham!
